Professional experience
After mastering the knowledge of Arabic language at the Department of Literature of Damascus University in 2009, Niccolò graduated with honours from the Tor Vergata University’s Law Faculty in Rome in 2010 with a thesis on Islamic law. Immediately after his dissertation he was appointed Subject Expert at the same faculty chaired by Prof. Massimo Papa. In 2012 he gained first position in an open competition to attend a PhD program in “Roman legal system, law unification and law of integration”, obtaining another three-year scholarship. After graduating, he began working as a practitioner with prestigious Italian law firms operating in civil, commercial, administrative and criminal fields, increasing his knowledge of the practical implementation of law and judicial practice. In the meantime, he devoted himself to the study of Persian language, with particular attention to the technical, legal and economic language, and he also attended courses at the Cultural Institute of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Rome.
Following a period of research on Islamic banking and finance in Tehran, financed by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, he discussed his doctoral thesis titled “Islamic bank and Italian legal system“, obtaining great success in the academic field and receiving expression of interest by important domestic and foreign investors. After becoming a qualified lawyer and registering with the Rome Bar Association in 2013, he joined the Orsini Law Firm, starting to provide his legal advice to foreign citizens and businesses operating in Italy.
He is also responsible for training and coordinating the teams of professionals who assist our clients in the most intricate operations.
He is the author of scientific articles published in books and trade magazines and holds teaching positions in comparative law, within the scope of training masters degrees and courses aimed toward lawyers and legal practitioners.
He speaks English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Persian fluently.
